Gato Consulting may use artificial intelligence and AI-enabled tools to assist with research, financial analysis, document organization, comparable data review, drafting, and other activities supporting our professional services.

AI tools support, but do not replace, professional judgment, independent analysis, or compliance with applicable professional standards. Gato Consulting remains responsible for its analyses, conclusions, and final work product.

Information processed using AI-enabled tools is subject to Gato Consulting’s confidentiality, privacy, and information-security practices.

  1. Disclosure of Information

Gato Consulting does not disclose non-public client information except as reasonably necessary to provide or support our services or operate our business, with authorization, or as required or permitted by law, regulation, professional standards, legal process, or other applicable requirements.

Information may be made available, as appropriate, to employees, contractors, professional advisors, specialists, peer reviewers, technology providers, and other service providers supporting Gato Consulting or an engagement.

Gato Consulting does not sell client information.

  1. Information Security

Gato Consulting maintains reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information against unauthorized access, acquisition, use, alteration, or disclosure. Safeguards are maintained taking into account the size and nature of our business, our activities, and the nature and sensitivity of the information involved.

No method of electronic transmission, processing, or storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Gato Consulting retains information for periods reasonably appropriate for professional, business, legal, regulatory, contractual, recordkeeping, and other legitimate purposes. Information that is no longer reasonably required may be deleted, destroyed, or otherwise disposed of in accordance with our information-security practices.

We generally retain engagement work files in accordance with the retention provisions applicable to the engagement.
